I get to present at the Texas CIT conference in two sessions. One session is a panel discussion on the revamping of the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement, Mental Health Police Officer 40-Hour Certification Course. We will discuss what the content of this course should contain.

In another session I get to speak on programs at the Lubbock Police Department for addressing the needs of citizens, including our Victim Services Crisis Team, our CIT program, and our training of officers for intervening with the mentally ill.
