I'll be a head judge at the competition again this year and am excited that our team at the Lubbock Police Department will get to compete again!  I hope we'll do better than last year's 7th place showing.

I'll also get to co-present with Sgt. Brandon Pierpoint at the conference held on the first day. We'll be speaking about how it is easy for negotiators to neglect officer-safety when responding to suicidal subjects.
